RENOMIA enters Latvia by acquiring a majority share in a local leading insurance broker.
RENOMIA has acquired a majority stake in the leading Latvian brokerage company R&D APDROŠINĀŠANAS BROKERS (R&D) based in Riga.
R&D is the largest Latvian insurance broker. It provides services to both companies and individuals. Due to its technological skills R&D owes a significant part of its business to an e-commerce platform. The two founders Dainis Maldutis a Raivis Ermans will stay as minority shareholders and will continue in management positions.
RENOMIA is the biggest broker founded in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Thanks to our majority stake in R&D, RENOMIA will have a direct ownership presence in eight countries in this region. These eight countries are part of the franchise network RENOMIA EUROPEAN PARTNERS (REP) in Central and Eastern Europe and Caucasia which covers 31 countries in this region. All members of this network are leading teams in their territory and provide unified and coordinates services with the hub in Prague.
RENOMIA recently received prestigious industry awards, such as Insurance Broker of 2019-2020 in the Czech Republic, RENOMIA in Romania received the XPRIMM award for the third time for the quality of their client care in the corporate sector.
